Dog Bingo

A Dog print is for life, not just for Christmas

With Relish has created a series of dog portrait prints as part of its Dog Bingo series, and is selling them to raise awareness of animal shelters as well as raising cash for the Mayhew Animal Home in north London.

The driving force behind the Dog Bingo project has been With Relish’s studio terrier Pip, who was rescued and rehabilitated by the Mayhew Animal Home.

Dog Bingo is inspired by the assortment of dogs encountered by the With Relish team while out walking Pip in local parks…

Dog Bingo Framed Prints

With Relish creative director Sarah Hyndman has created a series of three-inch lino prints, each featuring a portrait of different dog – either one that the team has met in the park or one belonging to a friend. At the moment there are 12 different dog lino blocks, but the list is expanding as the With Relish team meets more dogs. The blocks can be arranged in any combination to create prints, which are produced using a converted mangle printing-press in the With Relish studio.

The consultancy is holding an open studio event next month, with live printing, where visitors will be able to pick up a Dog Bingo print, as well as packs of dogs (postcards) and prizes in a game of Dog Bingo lucky dip.

As the With Relish team say, ‘You can buy a canine print for Christmas but a dog is for life.’
